Abstract

This research project begins with the identification of one of the problems that currently occurs around the recycling process of PET bottles, specifically in the conditioning and disposal stage prior to the treatment of the material, in order to confirm the existence of this problematic, an analysis is presented on the perspective of the recovery population as well as the different opinions with which the design of a PET bottle compactor machine with the production of hoops would be consolidated, taking into account the average purchasing power of the collection centers of the sector to finally develop an innovative, environmentally sustainable proposal capable of adapting to different structural settings, either at the domestic level or collection centers with institutional production. Finally, leaving available an alternative tool in which the recovery personnel can find an option for the acquisition and implementation of this type of tools within their production systems.
