Resumen
This image contains news about The president of the inspection board of public establishments has sent a communication dated the 12th of this month, number 147, related to the Merced school. It requests a resolution regarding the tenants who, as a result of the events of April 17, were ordered to pay part of the back rent they owe in favor of the school's income. These tenants are urged to once again comply with the pending payments to the corresponding fund, avoiding possible complications in collection. This communication mentions the presence of María Calvo, the priest Justo González, José María Sarabia and José María Cortés, who argue that they were forced to pay and did so by order of the authorities that were illegally imposed on April 17 in the capital . They allege that the money was used to feed the refugees and pay the foundlings' keeper. The board resolved on October 6 to convey this information to the governor of the province and suggests not requiring tenants to pay full arrears of rent, considering the circumstances of force and help to those in need. It is indicated that the trustee of the Merced school must claim the return of the amounts paid by the tenants to the trustee-treasurer of the refuge house, and that, regardless of the final result, the school can proceed to collect the outstanding rents and execute the estates if tenants withhold overdue payments.
