Abstract

The present work leave of the formative purpose of the research line Political Culture of the Master of Communication - Education of the Faculty of Science and Education of the University Francisco José de Caldas based in Bogota, Colombia. It aims to provide -from studies balance-documented and contrasting critical elements of interpretation, analysis and evaluation of informative speech broadcast on the first mandate of Alvaro Uribe as President of Colombia (2002 - 2006); and derivatively, make an approach to its impact on the construction of political culture in Colombia. The research exercise provides an appraisal of the studies and critical assessment to compare it with the broadcast news discourse about it and in that period by the Revista Semana. For such purposes the mixed research is used by methodologies Document Review, Critical Discourse Analysis and Theory.
