Orkéseos, una danza entre la tradición y la contemporaneidad

Abstract

This research documents the relationships, tensions and transgressions that arise between tradition and contemporaneity in the context of scenic dance in Bogota, taking as case study the piece Farotas by Orkéseos Dance Company. This document has as starting point the author’s motivations that lead to this research, followed by the explanation of the qualitative and ethnographic methodological strategies used to collect information. The conclusions are supported by the testimonies collected in dialogue with the personal vision of the author.
