Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de piscinas de acuicultura para la producción y comercialización de cachama y bocachico en Chinú - Córdoba

Abstract

Encouraging investment in rural or peasant areas of the country is of utmost importance for the development of the economy. In the following project, the opportunity to enter markets directly related to aquifer production in the municipality of Chinú - Córdoba will be analyzed, making use of land that due to its characteristics is not suitable for agriculture but that can be used for other agricultural activity such as source of income, in this case for the implementation of aquaculture pools. Technical and financial aspects will be studied that will give a broad vision on the feasibility of breeding and trade of cachama and bocachico, two types of fish that have a high demand in the departments belonging to the Atlantic Coast region, as well as the periods maturation and average sales weights. It is important to consider that in order to find viability, a study will be carried out where the demand will be projected, this will be evaluated in a period of five years, starting in 2021, leaving 2020 as year zero for study and execution of the project. For this initiative, the costs associated with the start-up and the time in which the investment will return will be analyzed, in order to financially guarantee that the operation and implementation of the cachama and bocachico aquaculture pools are or are not feasible as a source of income. and employment for investors or owners of the land where it will be executed.
