Resumen
Currently in Bogota, a company providing public services across of stations distributed in the city, where periodic maintenance is done, a procedure that requires to be optimized. Field formats were collected and a set schedule too. This information was extracted data for statistical analysis. The analysis was performed on the Excel software, where productivity, the number of daily visits carried out and the number of units used is calculated. These data are part of a group called Key Indicators Process KPI. Other indicators considered in the optimization, extracted from a spatial analysis in ArcGIS executed. The indicators obtained from this process are scatter radius and length of paths.
Two proposals for optimizing the maintenance process were made. The first, takes place in a stage classified for work areas, where stations are distributed. Given the spatial proximity of these areas, a new annual program was done, covering areas close monthly and takes into account the frequency with which each station must be seen. The second was developed in similar conditions to the first, however, working zoning staking. New areas of work, each centroid has as a main station, which is part of the group of stations that require more visits per year were created.
Key process indicators for the two scenarios were calculated, the evaluation of these was conducted to see if the plan was optimized.
