Diseño e implementación de una señal de transito inteligente de prohibido parquear para la detección de vehículos infractores

Abstract

This project consists of an intelligent traffic signal of prohibited parking which helps to prevent imposition of comparisons, as well as pedagogically encourage respect for traffic signals by drivers. This traffic sign is identical to the ones we find on the street, the difference being that it has anchored a cubicle 10 centimeters wide and 20 centimeters high on the back. This cubicle contains a Raspberry Pi 3, and they are connected to it; A webcam, a GSM module and a router that establishes a wireless network between the Raspberry pi 3 and a computer that emulates a central one. This so that when a vehicle is parked in a forbidden parking area, the camera picks up the vehicle's plate by taking a picture and sending a text message alerting the vehicle owner that it is in a prohibited parking area and That you please remove your vehicle from the place, in addition the image is sent to the central with the time and date to generate a prevention report. This project has been developed and supervised by the DIGITI research group of the technological faculty of the Francisco José de Caldas District University.
