The image contains news about the visit procedure carried out at the Cleaning, Lighting and Surveillance Tax Collection Office corresponding to the month of last February. On March 1, 1901, the Inspector General of the Income Tax appeared at the aforementioned office to carry out the regulatory visit and review last month's operations. The Collector General made the Cash book available, although the Journal and Ledger books had not yet been fully updated due to the recent return by the outgoing collector. Detailed examination of the Cash Book showed that $7,253.15 was collected, of which $870.35 went to collector fees (12%), $950 to employee salaries, leaving a balance of $5,432.80 to be remitted to the Treasury. The inspection did not reveal any irregularities, and the procedure was approved without observations, with the approval and signature of the parties involved. News published in the Official Gazette. March 8, 1901.
