Abstract

The Library has been transforming and this has depended on a number of factors, some of which are typical of the University's Academic characteristics, others of technological advances, transformations in the creation, consolidation and dissemination of knowledge, and finally, others born from the evolution of Academic Libraries in the world and in Colombia in particular. In this sense, compliance with the Strategic Plan becomes a necessity that implied fundamental challenges in 2020, consolidating a path to follow, through the implementation of the CRAI Service Model Resource Center for Learning and Research, which consisting of the assurance of objectives, strategies, fulfillment of goals and indicators; in order to achieve implementation, development, evaluation and continuous improvement. Therefore, the Library System's main strategy in its service is to implement the model CRAI Resource Center for Learning and Research as a facilitator of quality services and resources and collaboration in learning and research processes (Pinto, María 2008 ) in order to contribute to teaching innovation, knowledge management and information that is capable of strengthening through training and advice the strengthening of personal, professional and work skills of the University Community contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the Library System.
