Resumen
This paper describes the research process - creation of the monologue called “The Debt” that refers to sexual exploitation, drug addiction and motherhood in the streets of the Bronx of Bogotá, Colombia. Making known the harsh reality that women live in conditions of street habitation in the Center of Bogotá. These women were subjected to physical and emotional abuse, as well as sexual abuse that occurred 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition, the consumption of narcotics sold there increases the lack of protection. The staging of this monologue makes this problem visible and aims to raise awareness among viewers. To do this, we will cover the theory of Biodrama and epic theater, taking an approach that allows an authentic and close representation, where theater becomes a platform to give a voice to those who have been made invisible. Furthermore, Biodrama favors the interaction between reality and fiction, creating a theatrical monologue that invites reflection on sexual exploitation, drug use and motherhood, from an intimate and human perspective.
