Resumen
Seismic reflection data are essential information on the activities of hydrocarbon exploration because they allow to determine in-depth the shape of geological units or lithological layer, based on the detection of acoustic waves generated by an artificial source and propagating through the ground according to the physical properties of the subsurface. 3D seismic data are the best to visualize the structure of the geological subsurface, based on images, but to obtain a good sampling of data is needed. Environmental areas of exclusions, where you can´t perform seismic exploration, show zones without information which is necessary to recovery from spatial interpolation technology to improve the seismic image of the subsurface. In this paper were test of performance of three types of spatial interpolation such as Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), Ordinary Kriging (KRIORD) and Regression Kriging (RKRI) using seismic reflection data in the Llanos 26 3D program, located in the Llanos basin, Colombia. 6 performance indicators for each interpolation method were calculate, obtaining better results with Regression Kriging interpolation method, algorithm was applied to the areas of information loss of the program seismic 3D.
