This document summarizes the structuring of a forensic mapping workflow aimed at the comprehensive capture of information in criminal events or events for forensic investigation. All concentrated and with the only objective that allows the taking of decisions of the forces of order or judicial bodies, which has within its processes the work of Topographic Fixation. On the other hand, it is an ambitious proposal that has as a related objective to be a research project to obtain the title of Surveyor Engineer. The proposal stems from the need to improve the processes of capture, documentation and analysis of different places of events in the area of Criminal Investigation, in order to guarantee that the processes carried out by the Forensic Surveyor become a fundamental element in taking decisions by the bodies in charge of imparting and administering justice in Colombia. It is highlighted that within the object of study it is intended to determine what is the characterization of the processes that allows reaching the high precision standards demanded by this type of forensic topographic survey, highlighting that the field data represent determining criteria in the cross-sectional analyzes that they carry out the different auxiliary sciences of Criminalistics. Additionally and as a fundamental contribution, it is intended to characterize what should be the determining criteria of a field software, oriented to Forensic Topography.
