Resumen
This book consolidates the responses that emerged in an environment of literary reading of texts in English after implementing a methodological proposal through workshops that addressed different artistic dimensions of being. The population of English teachers in training, with varied reading appetites, both in the mother tongue and in the foreign language, constitutes a set of diverse expressions and interpretations that complement the voices of literary works and, further, that make the reader ( main concern of the present study) participate in a less mechanical way and rather mediated by their life experiences. This is an invitation to explore the common ground between literature and language learning based on the pedagogical and research procedures gathered here and the results of the reader-text relationship as a continuum, which constitute, for us, artistic manifestations.
