Resumen
What are we? arises from the need to make visible and strengthen the neighborhood and community memory building exercises that inhabit the territories, and that highlight the historical versions from the alternative and popular. From which it’s proposed to recreate by means of the digital visual micro-story, some of the testimonies shared by the original neighbors of the sector, in this way, recovering a part of the popular memory of the Camilo Torres Soacha's neighborhood, with the intention of contrasting different points of view on how this sector was founded and consolidated, and then capture them through the visual. Turning the cultural narrative into an artistic experience that reaches new technological scenarios, and to do this as significant and important for the subjects and their collective expressions. Finally, this project reflects on the influence and scope that the artist has when making contributions through the visual arts, to the memory, the fabric and the social imaginary; focusing on the importance of the places, facts and characters that remain in the popular memory, and that deserve to be taken up again from art and presented to society as a whole.
