Diseño e implementación de una herramienta de generación de muestreo espacial para el área de ciencia de datos de Synapsis Research

Abstract

This degree work in internship modality consisted in the development of a web application that would allow the generation of appropriate random samples following spatial parameters of urban areas of the cities of Bogota, Cali, Medellin and Barranquilla, in order to support the company Synapsis Research with the layout of an appropriate route for the surveyors according to their specifications and thus reduce time and costs for conducting the surveys; in addition to contributing with benefits for customers, considering that the requested market analysis will be delivered in a shorter time. In addition, an analysis and interpretation of the results related to the status of the data contained in the databases of the cities mentioned above, their articulation, as well as the strengthening and updating of the information through the development of supervised classifications using the Erdas imagine software on free mosaics of the urban areas of each city so that the samples are carried out exclusively in residential areas.
