| dc.description | La presente imagen registra una noticia publicada el 23 de agosto de 1882 por el Diario de Cundinamarca, donde se da a conocer como la construcción del Capitolio Nacional se realizó sobre cimientos de arena. Al continuar la obra en 1870 y tras haber terminado las dos terceras partes de la misma, se comenzaron a notar grietas en varias partes de la construcción, razon por la cual el Gobierno contrato al arquitecto italiano Pietro Cantini para darle continuidad y conclusion a la obra. | spa |
