Abstract

From the beginning of human civilization the man has tried to represent his environment through different drawings Starting with rock art, where the environment of the first humans was shown, these are considered as the first evidence of cartography, which has evolved. But never forgetting its main objective which is to represent the environment. Having the map of the territory is a necessary element for any social, political, economic or any other project in which it is necessary to have as base a map, this implies constant revisions, corrections and advances in graphic representations, whether analog or digital. Having in clear the previous ideas this document was realized, which dates from an internship of revisions to Cartesian origins Which depends on a Geographic Coordinate Systemlos, the Coordinate System that is revised is that of the national territory of Colombia From the average height above sea level and rectangular coordinates in north and east, as well as angular coordinates under Mercator's transverse projection.
