GeoICAR: geovisor para realizar seguimiento a la calidad del recurso hídrico en la jurisdicción de la CAR Cundinamarca

Abstract

The geoviewer tool for consultation of the Water Quality Index was born from the need to reduce the gap that exists between public entities and users who are interested in or affected by the definitions of an environmental authority; In addition to continue contributing to transparency and the right of access to national public information, this is how, taking into account the information of the Corporación Autónoma Regional de Cundinamarca, the functionalities of the system were generated; in the planning and development phase, all the necessary inputs were taken into account to generate the correct operation, within a friendly environment and a simple usability for all users. The result of the project is GeoICAR, a geoviewer in which the information of Water Quality Indexes can be consulted, for a hydrographic basin and a defined monitoring point, within the jurisdiction of the CAR Cundinamarca, the users will be able to visualize and consult the available information; besides having roles for workers that allow the registration of information and calculation of the index in the interface of the geoviewer.
