Abstract

This investigation document shows the appropriate procedure to be carried out in the production of high-quality PET-based raw material for the manufacture of footwear soles in order to contribute to the reduction of pollution, giving an appropriate use to this type of plastic before its final disposal. In addition, this also explains different important aspects to understand the process, such as the theoretical bases in which the composition of the material is shown and some characteristics that can be used when experimenting with PET, in the same way a calculation is carried out global of the economic resources required to be able to generate the product and to make it competitive on the market. On the other hand, the necessary parameters are defined to be able to elaborate the material, explaining the process step by step until reaching the final product
