Resumen
The image contains a story about the communications in which the Cundinamarca County Tax Department published an announcement identifying citizens facing overdue tax obligations. These individuals have the obligation to meet these debts, and if they do not do so, the authorities will take the necessary measures. The names of the debtor citizens were published in an official newspaper, as well as the amount owed.
In its announcement, the Department of Taxation notified the citizens mentioned on the list that they are in debt to the Department for outstanding taxes, violating article 1095 of the Judicial Code. Therefore, the Department of Taxation will take legal measures to collect the debt. This advertisement is valid due to Ordinance 39 of 1896 and the terms established in articles 1 and 2.
Persons named in the advertisement have the option of paying outstanding debts, as well as legal costs and interest, or appointing bailees and assessors to seize their assets if they cannot pay immediately. The Department will notify these persons personally or select depositaries and experts if the person mentioned in the advertisement is absent or unable to perform the position. The resolution includes an index of personal names and the amounts owed, as well as the legal measures that these debtors must follow. Each of these measures is supported by current legislation and must be notified in the Cundinamarca Gazette to ensure that people are informed. News published in Municipal Registry No. 784 on January 18, 1898
