Resumen
This research shows the study of the relationship between physicochemical parameters (COD, soluble COD, BOD5, pH, turbidity, conductivity, total N, total P, TS, TVS, TSS, TDS, VSS and VDS) and solid and dissolved fraction of heavy metals (Al, As, B, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, V and Zn) in runoffs of two roads placed on La Coruña (Spain) and the relationship between COD with heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Mn, Cu, Cr, Co, Ni, Cd, Fe) on a road sediment in Torrelavega (Spain). It is also intended to detect a physicochemical parameter that is an indicator of heavy metals in road runoffs. In addition, taking into account the direct influence of traffic in the concentration of heavy metals, the study has been adapted, to predict concentration of pollutants in Bogotá (Colombia).
