Resumen
This article shows the results of electroosmosi’s application for construction of a prototype with electrodes used for drying building systems affected by high water table in Bogotá D.C. First stage transformation filter dc voltage is made; then a control’s stage with a program for a given dc signal whose control depends mainly on a microcontroller and finally through a series of optocouplers recover that signal at higher levels of voltage which is routed to an anode and a cathode submerged into an acrylic tank delimited by a permeable barrier related objective of this experiment. The optimum final conditions of the prototype works without the risk of metal oxidation involve a graphite anode electrode and a copper cathode. The energy in [kWh] needed to displace 1000 [cm³] of water is as material used in the anode 0.192 by copper; 0.4117 by graphite and 0.2776 in steel.
