Herramientas para el fortalecimiento organizativo de la asociación de trabajadores informales de Madrid (Cundinamarca) en función de los debates por el uso del espacio público y el derecho al trabajo

Abstract

This internship report details the activities and projects carried out in collaboration with the Red Itoco Association from April to November 2023. The primary objective was to strengthen the Association of Informal Workers of Madrid (Cundinamarca) in relation to the debates on the use of public space and the right to work. This was achieved through a popular education program that addressed topics such as the use of public space, the right to work, and social organization, integrating the development of critical thinking through communication, source analysis, and argumentation. During the internship, studies were also conducted to characterize the population of informal workers from Madrid registered with the ATIM association. Finally, collaboration occurred in the elaboration and execution of an agenda in participatory spaces, including the First National Meeting of Informal Workers, in partnership with the organizations ASOTRAVID and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation
