Estudio de factibilidad mediante aplicación de metodología PMI para el mejoramiento de una vía terciaria entre los Municipios de Pacho y Villagómez, Cundinamarca.

Abstract

This project contemplates the study at the feasibility level of alternatives for the improvement of a tertiary road with a total length of 20.1 km, implemented the PMI methodology (PMBOOK 6 edition). This route serves as a connection to the municipalities of Pacho and Villagómez, Department of Cundinamarca. Today, this route is the only rural connection between these two municipalities and passenger and cargo transport are affected in terms of quality of life of the inhabitants, longer travel times and operational costs to manage the load, facts that influence competitiveness region of. Under this fact, the design and construction of a “Footprint Plate”, periodic maintenance and asphalt concrete paving were established as alternatives for improvement. Once the evaluation of alternatives has been carried out, it is suggested that the best option is the construction of a “footprint plate”, this recognizing the traffic, the geological conditions of the area, the displacement needs of the communities and an affordable cost.
