Resumen
The objective of this internship is to evaluate the ecological restoration strategies and actions during the 2021-2023 period of the Ecological Restoration Plan of the Civil Society Natural Reserve “Umbral Cultural Horizontes”, using as a basis the indicators contemplated in the Program of general monitoring. For it, a mixed research methodology is used in order to link quantitative and qualitative data to respond to the problem statement (1. Systematic review, 2. Assignment of indicators by levels, 3. Systematization and analysis of information, 4. DOFA matrix). Among the results highlighted in this study, it is obtained that, taking all the indicators established in the monitoring program and its specifications, compliance is estimated at: In Level 1, 12%, in Level 2, 18% and in Level 3 70%. It is concluded that since the lack of records is significant, the restructuring of the goals, criteria, indicators and quantifiers contemplated in the PRE is suggested, in order to facilitate the understanding of what is intended to be achieved and establish a more concrete focus on restoration actions. This way, A more effective integration of restoration into long-term management and conservation plans can be achieved, as well as the incorporation of more participatory approaches since the FCB has a great strength in the social component. Finally, The DOFA analysis tool provides a solid basis for informed decision making regarding the restoration plan.
