Abstract

The modernization and application of 3D technologies to the diagnosis of pavements in Colombia is undoubtedly one of the great challenges that the modernization and updating of the road network of many municipalities, departments and the country implies, the road network without a doubt has become one of the main means of economic impulse both at a regional and national level, hence the impulse received by several governments of the moment, this is an unparalleled opportunity for technologies such as computer-aided graphics to allow not only to create renderings of road designs but also to broaden its field of application in such a way as to facilitate road engineering consulting companies and therefore pavement specialists the diagnosis of deterioration of the current network, simplifying not only storage and availability information but also costs and delivery times in such a way that it results in timely interventions at the ma the existing road by the national, departmental or district entities.
