Abstract

This thesis proposes the creation of a proposed geometric design of a cycle route in the city of Bogotá between avenue 7 avenue street 173 to 165th Street and from the 165 street race 7 to race 8b is oriented according to specifications master cycle routes plan, and in this work typologies were addressed, and the design criteria in addition to explaining each parameter that we use for processing, in order to develop the respective horizontal and vertical design which will result from this thesis therefore clearly explain each concept that was used in the design development cycle route. However some concepts which would signage and everything related to construction (pavements, structure and security) are not taken. In addition to addressing a reference work for this thesis to explain the importance and benefits of developing a proposal for a route geometric design cycle. the historical and some laws that address the cycle path context is also addressed.
