Abstract

Protekto SAS is a security company that provides electronic escort and cargo traceability services through its patented technology called Escoltek® that circulate throughout the country. The maintenance of this equipment is of vital importance to guarantee its operation. Therefore, having the tool that is used in perfect condition is of vital importance to carry out the work. Therefore, having control over the tools that circulate within the company is of vital importance to know which ones should be taken out of circulation due to their use or which ones require maintenance to correct operating problems. In such a way that it was sought over time to find a way to obtain control over the use of the tools. An investigation was made about the use and condition of bench and machine tools, they were classified into tools that were in good or bad condition, then through the needs to have control of the tools, a series of formats that bring together several characteristics of the tools. When carrying out this classification, it is found that the acquisition of new tools and the maintenance of different machines is necessary. For this reason, a study and analysis is carried out for the acquisition of a new tool and the search for companies specialized in preventive and/or corrective maintenance.
