Resumen
The image contains news about two social events that occurred in the presidential palace; a theatrical performance and a dance. The first reports on a comedy of customs that was performed in the palace, in which the president had a leading role, adorned with military insignia of great historical relevance. However, the author of the text clarifies that he was not present at the function and, therefore, cannot give precise details about the role played by the president. The second mentions General Mosquera's plans to organize social gatherings at his residence, with the aim of receiving the ladies of Bogotá society. The text suggests, in a subtle way, that these meetings could have a more formal and protocol character than the celebrations organized during Bolívar's government.
