The image presents news about: "The calamities and tragedies attributed to the passage of the comet Boa in 1843 that have occurred both in Colombia and in the different countries, it is expected that with the passage of the new and beautiful comet that is now in sight can not be slandered as the one of 1843, and not to leave behind earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, wars or pests that have afflicted humanity during the years 1843 and 1844 that have just expired". La imagen presenta una noticia acerca de: "Las calamidades y tragedias que se le atribuyen al paso del cometa Boa en 1843 que se han presentado tanto en Colombia como en los distintos paises, se espera que con el paso del nuevo y hermoso cometa que se tiene ahora a la mira no pueda ser calumniado como el de 1843, y que no deje en pos de si ni terremotos, ni huracanes, ni inundaciones, ni guerras, ni pestes que tanto han afligido a la humanidad durante los años 1843 y 1844 que acaban de expirar".
