Resumen
The radio program "Voces y Regiones" focused on cultural identity in the municipality of Juan de Acosta, Atlántico. Hosted by Manuel Gregorio Alba Olivares, the special guest was Jorge Luis Charri, the municipality's culture coordinator, who emphasized the importance of folklore, music, and local traditions in shaping the region's cultural identity. Significant events such as the Intermunicipal Millo Pageant, the patron saint festivities of San Juan Bautista and the Immaculate Conception, the Angelitos Festival, the Cóndor Legendario Festival, and traditional music bands were discussed. The municipality's artistic heritage was also highlighted, including Alejandro Obregón's fresco in the local cemetery. Lastly, the role of communities in preserving these traditions and the need for support to revive traditional events were underscored.
