Abstract

This document describes the process developed in the creation of a telematics solution for risk management in medium and large companies, and its implementation making use of the services provided by cloud computing, such as platform as a service (PaaS). This type of technology and infrastructure will cover the principles of availability and ubiquity of the software developed, giving users the possibility of using it at the desired time. Given that today risk management in companies is vital to stay in the commercial world, having correct risk management provides an overview to owners, managers and administrators, giving them the necessary tools to prepare a contingency plan that maintains the company afloat even in the worst circumstances. For the development of this project, there were five phases that you will find distributed as follows: Chapter 1 contains the description of the project, its objectives, scope and limitations, the theoretical framework on which the application is based, the feasibility analysis and the work schedule based on the XP (Xtreme Programming) methodology. Chapter 2 reflects the requirements analysis made, a function diagram and a comparative table indicating the reason why the software was developed in PHP language. In chapter 3 the design of the application is located, taking into account the logical and graphic part, here a large part of the designed user interface is included. In chapter 4 you will find the documentation regarding its implementation and at the end, in chapter 5 the testing and quality assurance plan is mentioned.
