Abstract

Inside Of, it is a reflection about the remoteness we acquire as Bogotá habitants in relation with the city rivers, and is this because of the modernization process which it was adapted at the beginning of XX century, to solve health issues and urban expansive, giving as a result the canalization of most of the rivers in this city I work particularly on San Francisco river, situated on Bogota's center, reflexing about the impossibility of being physically navigated due to his underground canalization, but I raise a poetic solution by using a metaphor with aerial silk, an activity which I practice often and that it gives me a sensory sensation of inhabit a navigable river, it is because the interaction with this organic body who takes me apart from the ground allows me to flow with the wind, an event that surrounds me with nature, by climbing the silk I feel like entering in to an ecosystem, flowing with the air itself, unplugging me for completely from my daily life, this metaphor is developed through a video performance in a Bogota park. where I climb and sail a water river thread, that for a few moments bathes the city, the performance video is projected on a cube of cloth, showing different videos in his faces, joined by an assembling of sounds made from the city and the river
