Resumen
In this work, all the information produced from the technical construction-creation process of the character of “Ruth” is compiled in the collective creation production YOSOTROS, carried out by the actress and student Tatiana Jiménez Velasco and directed by Carolina Vivas Ferreira. In this text you will find in detail the theoretical-practical process and the methodical models of collective creation guided by the experience and knowledge of Carolina Vivas. The creative process started from the actors, from themselves, from their own needs, using stage tools (dramaturgy, audiovisual, sound and physical theater elements) that made it possible to achieve a composition with features of theatricality. Due to these characteristics, the development of the writing will be narrated in the first person as a log, allowing the reader a more intimate approach to what was the stage creation laboratory. Regarding the methodological structure of collective creation, in this work we will talk about four phases. The first phase works on the search for the territory on which each person is going to work. This search is done with elements rooted in the universe of each person, through strategies and games that they propose with free association. Having found each person's territory thanks to the collection of material, we enter the second phase, the expansion of horizons, determining and analyzing what we have in each territory, where each person makes a contribution to others, this with the aim of building new material in the universe of each person. In the third phase we begin to articulate the material and thus create a structure that dialogues with the matrix (universe of research and creation of each one) and then be able to see what relationship there is between each other and combine. In the fourth phase you will find how, thanks to the set of images selected by the combination method, you arrive at the process of character construction, given circumstances and staging of the same. This research will adopt a qualitative approach, and its methodology will be based on the case study developed by Robert E. Stake. The biographical method will be used, following the three steps of reconstruction of experiences as its foundation. In this stage of data collection, various documents will be collected, such as oral histories, photographs, notes, and field stories. These elements will be crucial for the construction of autobiographical stories that allow a detailed retrospective of the life history in each phase of the process. In this stage of data and information analysis, we will seek to give meaning to the information collected by examining its underlying structure, rather than focusing solely on its literal content. This analysis will be supported by a theoretical framework, in this case, the notion of collective creation. Finally, in preparing the research report, connections will be established between the two previous steps. The objective will be to organize and describe reality based on the case studied, so that the reader can immerse themselves in the experience of the memories and the events narrated. (Stake, 1999).
