Breve reseña de la música de cámara con guitarra

Abstract

This document provides a general overview of the concept of chamber music, seeking to find a connection between it and the performance and repertoire possibilities for the acoustic guitar. In this sense, it seeks to show that there is a much broader and richer repertoire than that limited to the solo instrument. To this end, the history of the genre is briefly reconstructed, attempting to identify links between the guitar, or its predecessors, and this type of expression in each period. Subsequently, to show how this instrument has become an important part of some chamber music ensembles, a formal analysis of a work for guitar and string quartet is provided. At the end of the document, as an appendix, is a catalog of chamber music with guitar, which the reader may consult according to their interests.
