Abstract

Transmudation of the Inner Skin ”is an artistic exercise of integration of the“ paternal Force ”, where it is harmonized with the maternal“ Air of sweet breath ”. Impetus, where I place myself in a need to inquire about the family past, where the “What does my father smell like” is the question that drives him and that emerges the days after a yagé ceremony, tracing a path for me that, subsequently, leads me to a literary, metaphorical, transpersonal, mythological interpretation, but, above all, filial, where the stories, dreams and impressions of my mother and the rest of my family about fatherhood are integrated and understood through the “proceed as a dog ”As a creation methodology in the exercise of animating iconographies. The transmudation proceeds from ritual aesthetic practices, in which “the skin” that marks the end of a cycle is removed, the inner skin, which is figured as the wallpaper of the native house, my maternal house. “Skin”, inherited by my father at the time of my birth and which is welcomed by my senses as a dreamlike placenta, which covers the brotherhood of dreams and family memories. That opening is solved through the integration of symbols, enunciated as "skin designs", which are the practical basis of the metaphor of the integration of forces, in which the "mute" is born from the need to ritualize the closure of a long stage in the maternal home, where the eventuality of a move arises
