Mentiras de la Epigrafía Bogotana

Abstract

The image presents a news item called ''Lies of the Bogota epigraphy'' by C. Pardo Umaña or also called Conservation of the old downtown buildings: La Enseñanza, Archbishop's Palace, which presents an opinion article showing the historical changes of different buildings, structures, streets and/or architectural works in the center of Bogotá such as the New Archbishop's Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, the capitol, Ecclesiastical Court, etc. and the government's reasons for executing changes (or not) of these. Likewise, annotations are made using epigraphy (Analysis of writings on solid and/or hard supports), rectifying part of the inscriptions such as those on the facade of the Cathedral up to the time.
