The image contains a news item about the Agreement Number 15 of 1896 on the income from the slaughter of small livestock and public slaughterhouses exposed by the Municipal Council of Bogota in which it is agreed that since January 4, 1897, the tax of slaughter of small livestock and related to public slaughterhouses will be organized according to what is set forth in this agreement, Therefore, it is mentioned that every individual or company that slaughters any type of small livestock to use its meat for consumption, even if it is not for sale, must pay to the Municipality the values of 0 to 20 pesos for each sheep or lamb and 0 to 40 pesos for each pig. Additionally, it is mentioned that this type of tax is different from the one related to the tax for the public slaughterhouse in which the payments defined by this tax are between 10 and 20 pesos according to the type of livestock, and it is also mentioned that people who are far from the public slaughterhouse must request permission from the Mayor to slaughter small livestock in a different place, It is also mentioned that if these people go to the municipality to sell the slaughtered cattle outside of it, they will have to pay the previously mentioned fees. Finally, it is mentioned how to act in case of fraud in this process and the times of the same to give timely response and control within the municipality.
