Resumen
A cross-sectional, cross-sectional observational study was carried out, using a descriptive methodology, which was made up of 70 workers who provide nursing home services in this IPS. A survey and the OWAS observational method have been applied. The results of the survey show that the most unfavorable conditions for IPS Network workers are: excessive 24-hour shifts, unhealthy habits maintained by workers, contract mode for service delivery, lack of Training and standardization of procedures, in addition to determining the processes associated with the nursing home service with greater perception of risk for workers. The findings of the OWAS method and the survey indicate that workers are exposed to risk factors related to the manipulation of heavy loads (69 kg average), musculoskeletal discomfort (predominance of back injury with 81%) and Inadequate postures most frequently performed are bent back and flexed legs. It is concluded that the postural behavior of the bent back and the flexed legs performed by the workers, added to the other factors, is not adequate. It is indispensable the intervention both in the workers and in the administrative area of the IPS, which promotes the appropriate postural behavior and the improvement of the current conditions, to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal disorders through adequate preventive and corrective measures.
