Resumen
The construction field offers one of the main economic activities in Colombia, since it is a country that is in the process of development; therefore infrastructure and construction projects are in great demand; whether public or private, both for communication and commerce between their regions, as well as for the execution of commercial and housing projects. For reasons such as those mentioned above, a large number of companies in the construction sector see an alternative in the labor field, such is the case of CONSTRUCCIONES Y CIMENTACIONES MANUALES TG S.A.S. whose main activity is deep foundation and reinforcement for large structures through the micropilote process; which consists of drilling by means of a drill adjusted to the pipe according to the required depth, and that uses water to complement the crushing exerted by the drill; transforming the crushed material into mud, which is dislodged from the drilling, due to the pressure of the water exerted by a 3-piston basic mud pump. Due to the aforementioned, the volumes of water used in this activity are quite considerable, so it is essential to implement strategies and mechanisms that allow optimizing the water resource minimizing the negative impacts on the environment and the costs involved in excessive water consumption.
