The research "Teacher narratives about the care of boys and girls in the commune of Caparrapi affected by the armed conflict in Colombia", addresses the discussion raised the question What are the meanings of the practices of care of children and girls present in narratives of female teachers in contexts of armed conflict? In this sense, it was proposed as a general objective to understand the meanings, ruptures and continuities of the care of children affected by the armed conflict in the commune of Caparrapí, in narratives of teachers of pre-school and primary school, during the years 1993 to 2013. In terms of methodology, the study is qualitative with historic hermeneutic approach, developed the method of analysis of narratives of nine teachers linked to educational institutions in the municipality of Caparrapí from four times: (i) registration and coding, ii) textual level: pre-conception of the narrative plot, (iii) contextual level of the narrative plot and (iv) textual level goal: reconfiguration of the narrative plot. The findings give account of the configurations to be children and girls in a context affected by the armed conflict in Colombia, the interpretation of the practices of care and their meanings in educational processes and the understanding of the ruptures and continuities of care in those contexts.
