| dc.description | Approaching a work of architecture through the lens of the memories of a journey that happened long enough to have been forgotten is, to a large extent, an art. The art of memory in architecture, conceived as a concert of memories, experiences and compositions, arises as a case study that refers to a particular trip made by the architect Rogelio Salmona, which turns his gaze to his memories of Africa. The article reflects on the hypothesis that the memories and reminiscences of that experience have been stored in his memory and can be found through fragments by those who visit, inhabit or travel his architecture. | en-US |

El arte de la memoria en la arquitectura, concebido como un concierto de recuerdos, experiencias y composiciones, se plantea como un caso de estudio que hace referencia a un viaje particular realizado por el arquitecto Rogelio Salmona, y que dirige la mirada a sus memorias de África. Se reflexiona sobre la hipótesis de que los recuerdos y reminiscencias de aquella experiencia hayan quedado guardados en su memoria para luego poder ser encontrados a través de fragmentos por quienes visitan, habitan o recorren su arquitectura. | es-ES |
