Abstract

Boris's degree project, "Uncontainable Permanent," explores the significance of the invisible and the void in art and existence. This theoretical-practical work examines how the invisible influences human reality and the universe, suggesting a connection between the comprehensible and the incomprehensible. The research draws upon ancient conceptions and advancements in modern physics, highlighting that both the minute and the monumental belong to a realm that transcends pure logic. The void is presented as a key element symbolizing the duality between the tangible and the intangible, arguing that the exploration of these concepts offers a deeper understanding of life and art.

The work also addresses the challenge of capturing the incomprehensible and critiques the materialistic and consumerist trends of contemporary society. The historical division between spirit and matter is examined, contrasting Eastern and Western perspectives. Furthermore, it explores how modern physics has revised essential concepts such as space and time, influencing the perception of reality. The artistic work seeks to reveal the invisible through the visible, the intangible through the tangible, conceiving both as phenomena of the same universal reality.
