Beatbox como herramienta teatral

Abstract

The search for different methods and trainings that develop the actor´s vocal-sound creativity and that contribute relevant sound elements to the theatrical staging, resulted in an investigationthat propose the application of the Beatbox's sonorities to the vocal training of the theater actors and the construction of sound atmospheres on a play. Througth this investigation, it goes deep on many artists´ work who develop sound explorations in their various staging on the theatrical, dance, musical and performing fields; These artists are examples and references of what has been investigated and proposed in this research. An application model is proposed in which, vocal and sound training is provided to the performers and a clear as well as a detailed guide to the directors, for the assembly of a play based on the Beatbox's sounds applied to the theater.
