Abstract

The main objective of this project is to generate the digital model of the Guatavita lagoon from bathymetric and photogrammetric data, which serve as input to carry out a morphometric characterization of the lagoon and make a brief analysis of the natural or anthropic changes that possibly existed. using historical data as input; such as all the information framed in the work of the Chorographic commission, headed by the Italian geologist and cartographer Agustín Codazzi in the 1850s; "This chorographic commission can be considered an interdisciplinary and pioneering work for the definition and construction of the country's modern consciousness, based on its geographical and cultural reality." (Gomez Lopez, Barona Becerra, Domínguez Ossa, & Figueroa Casas, 2003); or the data that can be found in the measurement records or the anthropic interventions that were carried out to achieve the famous drying of the Lagoon.
