Abstract

This final report documents the development and implementation of a comprehensive Business Intelligence solution for the visualization and analysis of the accounting management of the client Mawii – Tech Facturación Electrónica, carried out within the framework of a corporate internship. Throughout the document, the context and initial problems of the organization, the objectives, the applied methodology, the design and construction of financial control dashboards, as well as the results obtained and their impact on strategic decision-making, are presented. The project was developed under an agile methodology approach, specifically using eXtreme Programming (XP) and the Kimball approach for the construction of the data warehouse. These methodologies allowed for short iterations, facilitating incremental delivery of functionalities, continuous feedback, and adaptation to changes in client requirements. Thanks to this iterative work scheme, it was possible to identify necessary improvements early, optimize resources, and ensure that the final solution effectively addressed the organization's financial information needs.
