Abstract

The present research main objective is to look at science fiction, audiovisual media and science, which allows and simulates cosmic events posed by theoretical physics, when experimenting and examining the video camera, an erratic phenomenon was found which is called the video feedback, which is based on feedback from live images. Thus, structural forms such as fractals were visualized in their function, which simulated structures of the universe. To fulfill the objective of this project those influences where analyzed and where observed to understand the connection of these structures in the cosmos, it took me to investigate theoretical physics which leads to how these elements function, like quantum mechanics, general relativity and the string theory. Finally, the result of this research, exploration and union of these contents for this project was the use of video mapping softwares to make an audiovisual installation using video cameras, projectors and computers that generated an interaction with space, achieving a simulation of cosmic events like super novas, wormholes, and dimensional travel.
