Resumen
For individuals with visual impairments, navigating requires a deep understanding of their everyday environment. However, in unfamiliar settings, it becomes a significant challenge, involving their safety, physical well-being, and emotional comfort, as the sense of sight, a primary element for spatial orientation, is absent. Various solutions have been developed to ensure safer navigation and better adaptability to changes in unfamiliar environments, aiming to reduce the risk of accidents or misplacements. In this context, a proposal for a support system for autonomous mobility (SAMA) is introduced for individuals with visual impairments. This system, utilizing low-cost wireless technologies, aims to significantly enhance their adaptability while navigating outdoor spaces.
