Resumen
The procedure involves taking a design of a hot mix thick MGC-1 and a warm asphalt mix made from the grain size of the mixture but MGC-1 manufactured under foaming technique with addition of zeolite for this case with manufacturing Cylindrical specimens, prepared as described in the standard INVIAS 748-07, Marshall then breaking them in the press and determining stability and deformation. Similarly, determining the percentages of empty and made of mixtures, the specific gravities of the materials used and the compacted specimens, previously adopted before bursting test, in accordance with the relevant standards.
The procedure begins with the preparation of test specimens for which the proposed materials must comply with the specifications of grain and other, established for the project. Furthermore, it must first determine the bulk specific gravity of aggregates, as well as the specific gravity of asphalt, and should make an analysis of gaps density of the compacted specimens. To determine the optimum bitumen content for a gradation of aggregates given or prepared, it shall prepare a series of samples with different percentages of asphalt, so that by plotting different values obtained after being tested, to determine that value "optimal "content of asphalt and adding husil.
