Resumen
Since currently the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas only has a universal testing machine, which has a great robustness, being ideal for the analysis of metallic materials which are suitable to the characteristics of this one. In the following work of degree is intended to design a machine which allows to perform stress tests on fibers, and thus to know the mechanical properties under the idealization of critical scenarios of uses, and how this can feed the staggered transition of the use of new materials in applications where metals have always been used. First of all, a study of the art will be carried out, in front of the academic developments built in the study and behavior of the fibers, together with the practical scenarios that have allowed the quantification of these. Subsequently, the parameters of use and design will be defined, which are positioned as the cornerstone of the project. They will be evaluated under the implementation of decision matrices, objectively pointing out the most outstanding option. Finally, a computerized animation of the design will be generated, which will allow to expose the systemic operation of the machine, accompanied by the guiding documentation in the user-machine relationship. Together with the methodological routes in the treatment of corrective and preventive maintenance plans. Since this work lacks an experimental disposition, the analysis of results will be generated from a qualitative perspective, which will have as a reference point the documentary foundations that in this case is the scope and achievement of the objectives initially outlined.
